The Story of Gin

Gin, originally created in Europe, began as a medicinal spirit. Its name is believed to derive from the Dutch words “jenever” or “genever”, reflecting its base ingredient of juniper berries. This spirit has a long history of reinvention, evolving into a beloved drink celebrated worldwide.

While January is often associated with abstaining from alcohol, Ginuary flips the script by celebrating the creativity and versatility of gin. Starting as a social media experiment in 2012, “Miss Ginuary” introduced the idea of exploring a new gin drink daily throughout January, sparking a movement for gin enthusiasts globally.
