Karya Mapadudusan Agung at Gunung Lebah Temple: A Sacred Balinese Ceremony on February 12, 2025
On February 12, 2025, Pura (Temple) Parhyangan Jagat Payogan Agung Gunung Lebah in Tjampuhan, Ubud, will hold a big ceremony called Karya Mapadudusan Agung. This ceremony includes a series of rituals such as Mapeselang, Tawur Panca Wali Krama, and Mapedanan.
Preparations for this ceremony have started since the end of January 2025, with the active participation of krama (residents) throughout the Ubud Great Hall who worked together in making bale peyadnyan and genah tawur in the jaba (outer courtyard) area of the temple.
