What Type of Power Adapter Do You Need for Bali?

Planning your escape to Bali? Whether you’re staying at Amora Ubud Villas, exploring Ubud’s lush valleys, or chasing sunsets by the beach, one small detail can make a big difference in your travel experience, bringing the right power adapter.

Here’s a quick guide to ensure your devices stay fully charged during your romantic stay in Bali.

Electricity in Bali

Bali uses the European standard electricity system, the same as most parts of Indonesia.

  • Voltage: 230V
  • Frequency: 50Hz
  • Plug Type: Type C and F

If you’re visiting from Europe, your plugs will fit perfectly. However, if you’re coming from Australia, the UK, the US or Japan, you’ll need an adapter to fit Bali’s sockets.

Plug Types in Bali

  • Type C: Two round pins (used widely across Europe and Asia)
  • Type F: Two round pins with two side grounding clips (also called “Schuko plug”)

Both types are common across hotels, cafes and villas. Including Amora Ubud Villas.

What to Bring

We recommend packing a universal travel adapter that supports Type C and F plugs and handles 230V power. These adapters are lightweight, affordable and perfect for international travelers.

If you’re carrying devices like laptops, cameras or phones, make sure they are dual voltage (100-240V), most modern electronics are.

Charging Convenience at Amora Ubud Villas

At Amora Ubud, we understand that your comfort comes first. Our villas are equipped with standard 230V Type C/F sockets, conveniently located in living areas and near bedside tables.
Need an adapter? Simply contact our front desk, we’re happy to provide one for your stay (subject to availability).

Stay Connected in Paradise

While Bali invites you to disconnect from the world and reconnect with love and nature, we know staying charged is essential. With the right adapter, you can capture every beautiful moment from your private pool at Amora Ubud to the breathtaking views of Campuhan Ridge.
