August 17th has always been a special moment for all Indonesians. At Amora Ubud, we celebrated Indonesia’s Independence Day with the spirit of togetherness, laughter and gratitude.

The morning began with guests, staff and the local community gathering in red and white, symbolizing love for the nation. The villa was filled with joy as traditional games brought a lively atmosphere to the celebration.

• The sack race and tug-of-war highlighted teamwork and sportsmanship among participants.
• A touching moment was when everyone paid respect to the Indonesian flag, reminding us all of the struggles and sacrifices of the nation’s heroes.
